When we first designed the nozzle we had equal angles between each outlet hole. However in dry conditions when there is little or no lateral movement of the liquid in the soil this can cause quite severe banding or striping as the crop takes up the fertiliser. This will have a castellation effect which will last through to harvest and can result in sometimes severe yield penalty.

We quickly realised this and redesigned the nozzle from the ground up resulting in our current design of seven outlets at different angles giving equal and exact coverage onto the crop.

The nozzle has retained the accuracy of a dribble bar, but keeps the practicality of a conventional nozzle with the following advantages:

We developed our unique Umbrella nozzles in 1979 for use on our own farm, and by the late 1980s we were a major supplier to the industry. Most of the major nozzle manufacturers have tried to copy our design, which is complimentary to us, but none have succeeded.
